Answers about diesel repair, maintenance, and inspections at our Mesa, AZ shop.

Diesel technician answering questions about a repair

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Mesa, Arizona and serve owner-operators and fleets throughout the Mesa and greater Phoenix area.

Do you work on all diesel makes and models?

Yes — our technicians work on a wide range of diesel engines, from pickup trucks to heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers.

What are your shop hours?

We're open Monday through Friday, 6am to 6pm.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended so we can have a bay and technician ready, but call ahead and we'll do our best to work you in for urgent issues.

Why does every repair start with diagnostics?

Modern diesel engines are computer-controlled. Diagnostics tell us the actual root cause instead of guessing, which saves you from paying for parts and labor that don't fix the problem.

What does a diagnostic appointment involve?

A full ECM code scan, live sensor data review, and — depending on the symptoms — fuel system, turbo, or emissions system checks.

Do you do DOT inspections?

Yes, we perform DOT inspections, safety inspections, and emissions testing and compliance checks for trucks and trailers.

Can you fix an issue that caused a DOT inspection failure?

In most cases, yes. We diagnose exactly what caused the failure and can often complete the repair and re-inspection in the same visit.

Do you service trailers, not just trucks?

Yes — trailer repair, maintenance, brake service, and suspension work are all part of our regular services.

What's included in preventive maintenance?

Cooling, exhaust, transmission, emission, brake, suspension, steering, and tire service — the systems that keep small issues from becoming breakdowns.

Do you work on fleet accounts?

Yes, we work with fleet owners and owner-operators and can set up maintenance rotations for multi-vehicle accounts.

Do you repair turbochargers?

Yes — turbocharger diagnostics, repair, and replacement are part of our engine and fuel system repair services.

Do you do welding and fabrication?

Yes, as part of our specialized services, we handle welding, fabrication, hydraulic system repair, and electrical work.

Do you install security systems?

Yes, security system installation for trucks and trailers is available as a specialized service.

How do I know if I need engine repair vs. a diagnostic first?

Start with a diagnostic appointment. It tells us exactly what repair (if any) is actually needed, which prevents unnecessary work.

Do you offer emissions testing?

Yes, emissions testing and compliance is one of our inspection services.

What if my truck fails an emissions test?

We diagnose the underlying cause — often related to the DPF, EGR, or SCR system — and repair it so your truck can pass re-testing.

Can you work on hydraulic lift gates or dump beds?

Yes, hydraulic system repair for lift gates, dump beds, and PTO-driven equipment is part of our specialized services.

How can I request service?

Use the quote request form on our site, call us at (480) 265-7811, or email info@dieselrepairaz.com.

Do you provide estimates before starting work?

Yes — after diagnostics, we walk you through what we found and what it will cost before any repair work begins.

What forms of contact do you accept?

Phone, email, and our online service request form — whichever is most convenient for you.
